Christian Scientists have been meeting informally in Barrie since the
early 1900's. The present meeting place was purchased in the 1960's.
It is located at 159 Collier Street, close to the downtown core.
Members hold Sunday Services at 11 a.m. and a Wednesday Meeting on the
2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30p.m. A Reading Room is located in the same
building and is generally open every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend our Sunday Services, Wednesday Meetings
and visit our Reading Room, The Reading Room offers publications
related to Christian Science for sale and for borrowing. The World
Edition of The Christian Science Monitor is also available for sale.
Christian Science Society, Barrie is a branch of The First Church of
Christ, Scientist, Boston Massachusetts.
